Rule 4
Group, sub-group, rank and post in service –<br>
(1) Based on the nature of work in the service, the minimum educational qualification required to perform that work and also the job specification, there will be groups and sub-groups as per schedule-1 containing positions of the same nature within the service.
(2) The service shall consist of the following categories—
(a) Gazetted (1) Specific category,
(2) First class,
(3) Second class, and
(4) Third class.
(b) Gazetted
(1) First class,
(2) Second class,
(3) third class, and
(4) Fourth category.
(3) In the specific category of service, there may be posts as specified by the Government of Nepal.
(4) The posts of various categories and uncategorized in groups and sub-groups will be as per schedule-2.
